Tip:
You can always learn first, about the type of plants you wanted to take care of. Take time to learn about how much sun it likes, does it love indirect or direct sunlight? Learn if it needs to be watered every day, or it can go two weeks without water.
Here’s how to do it with your Plant:
1. Choose the correct pot for your desired plants
- Make sure that you will use a pots that has their holes at the bottom, so that water can be drained easily. It is important that all water will drain out and not trapped in the soil so that we can avoid drowning our Plants.
2. Always use a good Potting Soil
- Potting Soil or Potting Mix is very important when you're going to re-pot your Plants from a container. Choosing a good potting soil will help your plants stay strong and healthy since most of these are contained with fertilizers and extra nutrients already.
3. Feel the soil of your Plants
- The golden rule when it comes to all potted plants is to see if the first inch of your soil is already dry. If it's dry, this is the time that your plants need some water. This is also the same if you noticed that some of their leaves were already drooping or they may have some discoloration.
4. Give them Plenty of light. They loved it!
- While every plants has their own preferences when it comes to sunlight, no plant will grow with absolutely no light.
5. It is better for your plants to be underwatered, than you overwatering them
- Take note that Plants can be easily recovered from being deprived of water than one given excess water. Overwatering can instantly cause a root rot in your plants, and you will have to re-pot them again once this happened.
